Rush Springs Library AR Reading Level Color Coding System

Our library uses this system of color coding to designate the reading level of easy readers to make it easy for students to find books in their reading zone. Students are assigned these colors after taking the STAR Reading test to optimize their reading growth.

Readers for Life

Readers for Life is a program established in memory of former Middle School reading teacher, Darlene Dryden. Contributions to this fund are used to buy new books for our school libraries. Donations made in the name of a friend or loved one will be marked with a bookplate in their honor. Contact Mayme Beard or Cheryl Rolin for more information on how to make a donation to this worthwhile cause.
